Наткнулась на ранее мне неизвестную картину , изображающую Людовика XIII перд распятием.
Antoine Cibille

Painting by Antoine Cibille (1657, listed Historic Monument in 1998)

Situated in the north arm of the transept of the Chapelle des Penitents, this work was rediscovered during the restoration in 1990. This large canvas (205 x 130 cm) represents a Calvary , Jesus being surrounded by Mary and the apostle John. The kneeling figure could be the king Louis XIII (one can see a crown and sceptre on the ground) who is wiping the blood from the feet of Christ. Louis XIII is pictured with three hands of which the “hand of contrition” least obvious rests on his heart. One can also see, on the bottom left hand side of the painting, one of the oldest representations of the coat of arms of Beaulieu

Фрагмент картины, с изображенем Людовика крупнее. )
Картина нахожится в церкви LA CHAPELLE DES PENITENTS
