Eiryu and the yukidaruma (snowman), ca.1900-10 late Meiji-era photograph by an unknown Japanese photographer ~ a nice studio image of a Geisha named Eiryu (Prosperous Dragon), "the queen of the geisha postcards". She was born as Rino Ito in Nagoya and debuted as Eiryu II in Tokyo on New Year’s Day 1910 at the age of fourteen.
