Pat and his Swarovski Titanic Pendant A Steiff exclusive to Sue Pearson Dolls & Teddy Bears Pat and his Swarovski Titanic Pendant is a shop re-issue of our much loved black Steiff bear Pat. The Steiff black bear was originally created in 1912 to commemorate the loss of life on the Titanic. This reproduction is limited to just 1000 pieces and comes with a numbered certificate and embroidered bag from Sue Pearson. Around his neck hangs a very sparkly pendant designed and made by Swarovski in the shape of the famous liner.

Lovers of cuddly toys were in fur a real treat at a massive Teddy Bear festival in London recently. Around 10,000 teddies turned up at Kensington Town Hall for the show, which saw more than 170 exhibitors showing off their furry friends.
All kinds of bears were present, from antique bears to brand new handmade bears, traditional Teddies to multi-coloured mutations almost unrecognisable as bears.
Popular among visitors were Teddies dressed in outfits ranging from sailors to cricket players, and one stall even featured alien Teddy Bears. Some members of the public also brought their own bears along to visit their cuddly cousins.
But the five halls of teddies were not just for children, as serious collectors and traders came from all over the world for the event.
Traders turned up from as far afield as the USA, Canada and Japan, and Europe was well represented with many traders from Germany and Holland, amongst others.
Many famous manufacturers were on show, including many by Richard Steiff, and some of the bears were valued at several thousand pounds each.
Adding to the fun of the occasion, this year's Teddies Festival included the launch of the first Teddy Bear Manifesto; a humorous set of proposals put forward by bears all across the country.
Examples of bears' concerns include a worry about the EU Honey Mountain and the recent directive from Brussels on the downsizing of beehives.
